Why aren’t players such as Juraj Slafkovsky, Sean Farrell, Owen Beck or Filip Mesar who have high skill sets and high hockey I’Q’s, who if are not stuck on a line with the wrong linemates with the wrong skill sets being discussed as legit point per game players.

#5. Why aren’t players such as Emil Heineman, once again Owen Beck or Jared Davidson being looked at as future Frank Silk Trophy candidates.

Regarding the defensive side Unless Lane Hutson for some unforeseen reason fall apart at the NHL level, there is no reason not to look at in any other way than a legit Norris Trophy winning defenseman. Where’s the support for Kaiden Guhle, Logan Mailloux or Adam Engstrom as legit trophy level players.

#7. What’s with the ridiculous Alexis Lafreniere offer sheet rumors. The Canadiens already have 16 forwards heading into training camp.
